The Park offers a series of attractions for everyone:
Studio Tour
As its name indicates, it’s a guided tour of the studios by bus, presented by Whoopi Goldberg. Let yourself be submerged by the settings of Universal’s biggest blockbusters.
We encounter several animations and films scenes as we make our way through the studios:
- an earthquake in San Francisco’s underground;
a face to face meeting with King Kong and his banana breath;
Jaws;
Westeria Lane, where the “Desperate Housewives” not very peaceful life takes place;
a deleted scene from War of the Worlds;
a stunt with two burning cars;
a torrent of water rushing down a slope;
the worrying house from Hitchcock’s Psychose;
etc...
Studio Tour really is the main attraction of Universal Studios.
-Waterworld is water based show.
-Shrek 4D and Terminator 2 3-D are kind of magical cinemas.
-Special Effects Stages is a brief lesson on special effects.
-Backdraft surrounds you with blazing flames from hot sets.
For those of you who enjoy strong sensations:
-Jurassic Park-The Ride with its 84 feet high final drop.
-Revenge of the Mummy-The Ride with its surprise.
-Back to the Future...-The Ride is a great simulation based on the trilogy.
-House of Horrors, a house that really scares the hell out of you.
-Fear Factor, the programme.
Universal Studios is a must-see if you are planning on spending a few days in Los Angeles.
